Lita Bradford is one of those people that make our lives so much better in so many ways, that it's challenging to find a starting point. She is a great mother, hard worker, steady, warm and compassionate (but no-nonsense), makes everyone around her proud (her mother, grandmother, brother, etc), and the list goes on and on and on.
Let me NOT count the ways, because no matter how deeply I think, I am certain to miss something. Lita's pleasant personality makes her a joy to be around. I have never seen her express anger toward anyone, and if you have a story to the contrary, it just may be "about you." Lita is one of those rare and precious jewels, operating "under the radar" that we can consider among our "Acres of Diamonds." She is so humble that I could not locate a photo of her by herself. I thought about cropping the one above with her son Chaz, and then I realized that if she wanted to pose by herself, she would have done so.
In his book Acres of Diamonds, Russell H. Conwell reminds us that “True greatness is often unrecognized.” May we seek during this month especially (and all year), to recognize, reflect upon, celebrate, thank, and pray for those who "under the radar" and with humility, give life and help make life a joy.
